Some of our comments about the WeddingWire

Here are some comments we are getting about the WeddingWire. Please note that these comments are from "Anonymous" businesses. We do not want the Gestapo known as the Wedding Wire to do more harm than they have already done to these small businesses.

WeddingWire posted a negative review from someone that did not even use my services. I believe it was posted by another photographer in my area who does not want me here. I reported it to WeddingWire and they took down the post, for a while, then added it back claiming that it did not violate their policy. What a load of crap.

I feel your pain. I am currently being dealt the same crap by WeddingWire. A bride gave me a 1.9 rating and admits I did not shot her wedding. She reviewed value and quality at 1.0 even though no services were rendered. I did not provide services because she did not sign a contract. There was no contract between us but Wedding Wire states that she provided sufficient proof that there was a business relationship in place. However, they claim their privacy policy prevents them for sharing the document that is clearly a forgery. So, to remove a negative review, one must prove fraud...however, WeddingWire wont allow me to prove that the signature is forged. Otherwise, they are accepting a contract without my signature as proof and either way that is not sufficient to allow a bride negatively rate my business because she is made at me for NOT filming her wedding. Wedding Wire is corrupt business only wanting to get your money.

I agree! Wedding Wire has ruined my business by allowing a bogus review to stay on their site! I contacted them explaining my side of the situation, and they still refused to remove it. Then when I posted a response, they removed MY response!!! They told me that if I wanted it removed, I should pay for advertising.
